We're Julia and Carola, the founders of JUNA. What began as a creative way to pass the time during the lockdown soon grew into something more meaningful. We started making candles simply for the enjoyment it brought us - an uplifting outlet during an uncertain time.
Little did we know that this would transform into a thriving business as sales soared during our first Valentine's Day, Easter, and Mother's Day! As we grew, we realised how much people valued not just the candles, but the thought behind them. We spent time learning how to personalise every detail from scent blends to labels and packaging, so each candle could feel meaningful and unique.
For us, candles have become more than products - they are an integral part of our family's daily life. Regardless of the season or occasion, there's always a candle aglow, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Sustainability is a cornerstone of our business philosophy, prompting our decision to exclusively use soy wax for our candles. Soy wax, derived from soybeans, is natural, renewable, and vegan.
The benefits of soy wax are numerous - it burns cleaner and longer than paraffin wax, emitting fewer toxins and contributing to a healthier environment. Our candles not only enhance the ambience but also align with our commitment to a greener planet. This eco-friendly choice extends to our packaging.
